Located three miles from the beaches of the Adriatic and halfway between Brindisi and Lecce, the farmhouse "La Badessa" is an ideal location to visit the main touristic sites of the region (Otranto, Gallipoli, Otranto, Alberobello, Ostuni, Martina Franca, ....). Immersed in the olive and citrus groves, you will be warmly welcomed by the owner's family in the agritourism complex where the atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful. "La Badessa", which history goes back to the fourteenth century, is a typical "Masseria" of the Salento, the southern part of Puglia. Property of the monastic orders until the nineteenth century, it then was bought by a rich French family which produced wine for export and belongs today,for more than a century, to the family Azzolini. Close to the main house, the accomodation consists of 3 bedrooms with bathroom and 9 appartments of different sizes that can accommodate 2 up to 8 people. Restored according to the style of the country, alls rooms are equipped with all comfort: air conditioning, satellite television, wifi, fans, plus kitchenette and private garden for the appartments.
